The objective of the Alliance of  Pioneer Travel Operators is to support mutual marketing efforts of APTO Members, facilitate experience exchanges and international trend discussions in a progressive environment, promote member expertise in the consumer sphere, and advocate responsible tourism in the international marketplace.

APTO provides a professional forum for analyzing and exploring global tourism trends, advancing multilateral discourse amongst APTO Members and moves toward a goal of improving international travel operation efficiency.

Consumer Awareness & Advocacy 

APTO instigates consumer awareness in the public sphere advocating the benefits of Member expertise and industry experience. It monitors implications of media and emerging technologies in developing coordinated public awareness initiatives. 
The Alliance provides industry-wide guidance to Members and Allied Members in understanding consumer behaviors for policy adjustments and raising Member public profiles.

Promotion of Responsible Tourism
